SiChuan Earthquake - Hopeww has been doing some fundrasing and donation for the victims, just wanna share with you all:
For the earthquake, 2 of our staff together with around 100 local volunteers are in Changed. Some of them are assessing the help we can make and some of them are at Hoax Hospital (華西醫院) helping and comforting those affected children. Lots of them are suffering from loss of limbs and some of them are still hoping they can find their parents. Our works will mainly focus on helping children affected including orphans from this disaster because this is our strength in programs.
What you can help? I think, at the moment, (1) you can pray for the victims and volunteers, if you can (as a Christian, I’ll keep on asking people to do this, no matter whether they are church goers or not); (2) donate to help (you can donate through Hope and download the form from our website: www.hopeww.org.hk ); (3) share the same news to others (colleagues or friends) to get their help. For volunteering, it may be possible in a later stage, such as the rehabilitation and redevelopment stages.
